R. J. Daum Construction Company was established in 1936 by Raymond J. Daum and Wade A. Perong, and was incorporated in 1949 in the state of Nevada. R. J. Daum Construction Company has been involved in commercial construction since the company’s start. Throughout our history, we have developed strong relationships with our clients and sub-contractors. R. J. Daum Construction has been dedicated to the success of our clients as well as the success of our sub-contractors. It is that dedication that has produced the loyalty to sustain our success for over 70 years.
Today, Harold Perong (son of Wade Perong) serves as President. As a WWII disabled veteran, Harold started working for the company in 1949. Harold has participated in all aspects of the business from Truck driver, Laborer, Forman, Superintendent, Estimator, on up to his current position as President. Harold is still Estimating today, as well as running the company.
Mark Perong (son of Harold) serves as Vice president, and has also worked his way up through the ranks since he started with the company in 1979. Mark manages our alliance contracts as well as handling the day to day operations of the company.
